JavaScript was the most living language and macos the most living desktop operating system in a survey of almost 9,000 developers around the world, which asked about the use of technology, as well as demographic, income and workplaces.
Report of the Devs 2025 State, which was published on June 15 by Devographic, is based on a survey of developers 8.717 overall respondent this spring, although not all answered that they participated in each question.
When asked which languages are code, 83% of respondents report JavaScript, while 75% reported the types of script. Python came to fifth, 31%, the third place in CSS (70%) and fourth HTML (69%). Java was an eighth language between the respondent, 17%. Java also ended up in the sixth place of PHP (25%) and seventh place (20%). MacOS proved to be the most rooted desktop operating system, at 57%, followed by Windows at 28%and Linux to 15%.
